ca 1940/50, a Very Rare early Checker Cabinet that belongs in your collection or working show. 11 x10 1/2 x 6 1/4" finely made with turn-table for the change from glass of rice to stack of checkers. This is a Transposition effect where the checkers are placed under the Chinese design tube with wooden top and metal body on a stand. A glass is filled with rice and placed into the open cabinet. The attractive dragon stenciled front is slid down in place and the magic word and they both exchange places. The cabinet is opened to reveal the loose stack of checkers and when the tube is lifted, there is the glass of rice.
- Rare to find!
CONDITION: VF Complete as seen but lacks instructions (I think you'll figure out how the transposition is accomplished when you play with it)
