Louis MARX Pete The Parrot 1960 Battery Operated Tin Litho - U.F. Grant/Japan
This piece was marketed by U.F. Grant & advertised in the Genii magazine in the 1960's. Grant sold it as a Prediction piece of apparatus. The Parrot would tell them the name of the card you recorded.

Body is tin Litho, with felt and faux mohair covering the parrot's body. Records and plays back, (recorder runs but can't get it to record). Requires three D batteries and one 9 volt battery.
Parrot's wings, head & tail move & the eyes light up. Tin Litho body very clean as is the covering.
The toy measures 28" tall x 7 1/4" diameter (at base)
